If you own or control any assets you are already a winner!
The size or structure of the deal does not having any bearing of importance because you have already accomplished a goal that most people only dream of.
Listen to learn why finishing the race is as important than winning the race.
Hi, Jay Massey with CashFlowDiary.com with a quick tip about real estate and business.
Today, we’re going to talk about the difference between winning and finishing. What’s the difference between winning and finishing?
It sounds like it’s the same, but it’s really not.
Think about a marathon runner. Now, I’ve never run a marathon, but for most of us, many of us, if you did choose to run a marathon, do you have any hopes of actually winning? Or is just more important that you finish? Is that the accomplishment?
Sometimes we can get caught up on winning. It’s more important for us just to finish, just to achieve the goal. Here’s how this plays out in our life, especially as it relates to real estate and business.
We’re going, “Man, that person earns more money than me.
That deal earns a higher rate of return. I can’t believe they get to live in such a great place. How come we can’t do that?”
When sometimes the goal is just to finish. Most of us, especially those of us even watching this video live a much better lifestyle than the majority of the world.
Couldn’t you say that we’ve already won? Now the goal is just to keep going and to finish the race and improve it for others? I think so. I don’t know what that means for you, but maybe it relieves a little bit of that pressure.
You don’t exactly have to keep pushing so hard. Maybe, you’ve already won. Now it’s just time to finish.
